Troponin – I

A Troponin test determines how much Troponin is present in your blood. Troponin is a type of protein found in your heart’s muscles, and it isn’t ordinarily seen in the bloodstream. Our bodies release Troponin into the bloodstream when the cardiac muscles are injured. More troponin is released into the circulation as heart injury increases.
