Estradiol (E2), Estriol Unconjugated (uE3)
Estradiol (E2) and Estriol Unconjugated (uE3) are types of estrogen, a hormone produced by women.
Estradiol (E2) is a hormone made by non-pregnant women. The Estriol (E3) hormone increases in women during pregnancy. Estradiol can be converted to estriol. The E2 and uE3 tests measure the levels of estradiol and estriol in the female.
The Estradiol Test is necessary when:

- Part of a prenatal test – triple screen test
These estrogen hormones are tested through blood, urine, or saliva.
