This test is performed on an individual to determine the presence of nicotine in the body. Doctors can analyse this test through blood serum, urine, and even saliva samples. The presence of nicotine indicates the consumption of tobacco and tobacco products. The usual range of nicotine in the given sample must be < 2 ng/ml. It cannot be zero as very trace amounts of nicotine can be found in the bodymdue to consuming tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, and cocoa leaves.
