Chyle-Urine-Random

This test is used for the determination of fat in urine. Also called Chyluria, it helps in diagnosing Alkaptonuria. Galactosemia is the existence of galactose in urine, in which the urine gets milky in color. Other symptoms include pain in urination, blood in urine, and increased frequency of urination.

Chyluria occurs when the lymphatic fluid is leaked into the kidneys and disturbed by its normal flow. It can be caused due to parasitic infection, trauma, tumors, heredity, etc. The fat content in a healthy human being is less than 10 mg/dL. Any amount greater than 10 indicates the signs of
disease.
