We have been touted as a centralised hub of diagnostic tests. We offer a complete spectrum of services for infectious diseases, cancer, blood glucose / CBP, hormonal assays, therapeutic drug assays, etc., and more to support physicians' decisions and drive quality and efficiency.

Clinical Biochemistry
The lab is well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities:
- Two fully automated random access biochemistry analyzers, Ortho Clinical Diagnostic Vitros 250 approved by IVD and FDA. LIS is in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
- Cobas E411 - fully automated random access hormone and tumor marker analyzer based on latest Electro Chemiluminiscence technology.
- HPLC machine from Bio-Rad for Glycated Haemoglobin (HbA1c). This is the state of the art technology for accurate estimation of Glycated haemoglobin and for screening for abnormal haemoglobins.
- Use of all closed channel equipments thereby ensuring use of standard reagents and quality of results.
Clinical Pathology
The lab is equipped with:
- An automated Random Access Urine analyzer.
- Screening for drugs of abuse.
The laboratory has two levels of Quality control measures in the department:
- Two level Internal Quality control samples run with every batch.
- Inter Laboratory Quality Assurance Programs - ILQA.
- Regular Internal audits to monitor out of control situations.
Hematology
The lab is equipped with:
- Two fully automated random access five part cell counters from Beckman Coulter, working on the principle of flow cytometry.
- Coagulometer for PT, APTT & Lupus anticoagulant assays & Thrombophilia profile.
- D-Dimer & vWF assays on ELFA technology and G6PD assays.
- Abnormal Hemoglobin screening on HPLC machine - D-10 Biorad.
- Coagulation Factor assays on automated coagulometer.
- The lab is equipped with 3 part, 5 part haematology analyser, semi automated coagulation analyser.
The laboratory has three levels of Quality control measures in the department:
- Three level Internal Quality control measures with strict adherence to Westgard rule.
- Inter Laboratory Quality Assurance Programs - ILQA.
- External Quality Assurance Program (EQAS) - CMC Vellore & AIIMS, New Delhi.
- Regular Internal audits to monitor out of control situations.
- Retesting of retained samples and replicate analysis.
- Accuracy, Precision, uncertainty of measurement and Total error estimation and monitoring.
Immunology
The lab is equipped with:
- Demonstration of how the ELISA assay is used to diagnose exposure to a disease by testing for the presence of antibodies to the disease in a sample of simulated serum.
- Determine the hemagglutinating antibody titer of two different sera.
- Demonstrate complement mediated lysis and the sequence of reactions necessary to cause lysis.
- Centrifuges, thermal water baths.
- Protein electrophoresis and blotting system (Mini-PROTEAN®, BioRad).
- ELISA reader.
- ELISPOT automated reader (Immunospot).
- Modern visible light and fluorescent microscopes.
- Ultra-pure water system.
- Shuttles and a shake-incubator (Heidolph).
Serology & Microbiology
The lab is well equipped and has the following facilities, which ensure we deliver the best results:
- Automated ELISA system to perform tests on 50 different samples.
- Automated culture, identification and sensitivity system to analyse aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
- Automated culture system for blood tests.
- Immunofluorescence technology to detect autoimmune diseases.
- Special tests such as Western blot for HIV, Quantiferon TB gold test, and ANA profile.
- Complete allergy panel test to examine food and inhalation allergens.
The laboratory has three levels of quality control measures that are strictly followed in the department:
- ATCC strains are used to ensure complete quality control.
- Three-level Internal Quality control measures that strictly follow the CLSI guidelines.
- Inter Laboratory Quality Assurance Programs - ILQA to get the best data and analysis methods.
- External Quality Assurance Program (EQAS) - IAMM Chennai.
- Regular Internal audits to monitor the safety of the infrastructure.
Histopathology
The lab is equipped with:
- In-house processing of histopathology samples.
- In-House facility for Tru-cut biopsies.
- Special stains - PAS, Alcian Blue, Methenamine Silver stain, Perl's stain, Congo Red stain.
- Immunohistochemistry Markers - ER, PR, Her-2 neu, Cytokeratin, LCA, EMA & S-100.
- Clones of standard strains and FDA approved companies are used.
- Well trained and qualified pathologists with expertise in Oncopathology reporting.
- Faster TAT.
