Hepatitis A virus IgM

Test

Hepatitis A virus IgM (HAV- IgM)

Hepatitis A virus IgM (HAV) test is performed to detect the presence of Hepatitis A virus in the bloodstream.

IgM antibodies are produced against the virus within weeks of infection, and hence this test determines whether a person is infected with the Hepatitis A virus (HAV).

Hepatitis A virus IgM (HAV- IgM) Tests

Hepatitis A virus-IgG (HAV IgG)

This test is performed to detect IgG antibodies in the blood produced due to Hepatitis A infection.

Hepatitis B Envelope Antigen (HBeAg)

This is a blood test conducted to detect the presence of Hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg). This test is conducted to diagnose Hepatitis B infection in the initial stages of infection in a patient.

Hepatitis B surface Antibody Total (Anti HBs)

This test is conducted to detect total surface antibodies of Hepatitis B virus infection.

Hepatitis B Surface antigen (HBsAg)

This is a rapid test for detecting hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in blood serum, plasma, or whole blood.

Hepatitis B Envelope Antigen (HBeAg)

This test detects the HBsAg in an individual’s bloodstream to confirm Hepatitis B virus infection.

Hepatitis E virus - IgM (HEV IgM)

This ELISA test is performed on a Blood sample to detect the Hepatitis E IgM antibody (HEV IgM). This test is used to diagnose Hepatitis E virus infection.
