HCV (Rapid)

Test

HCV (Rapid)

HCV Rapid tests are performed on an individual to detect the presence of hepatitis C antibodies (anti-HCV) in human serum. As the name implies, the test is used as a vital diagnostic test when a hepatitis C
infection is suspected. Hepatitis C is a contagious liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV) and can be transmitted through contaminated blood.

HCV Rapid Tests are safe, quick, very sensitive, thus giving out results in less than 20 minutes. The anti- HCV Rapid Test is for in-vitro diagnostic use only and is based on the principle of an inter-second antibody enzyme immunoassay for detecting anti-HCV in blood serum or plasma.
