Microalbumin/Creatinine Ratio-Urine
Test
Microalbumin/Creatinine Ratio-Urine
A microalbumin creatinine ratio indicates the amount of albumin to the amount of creatinine in a urine sample. Microalbumin indicates a small amount of the protein albumin, normally found in the blood.
At the same time, creatinine is a typical waste product present in urine. This ratio is analysed to screen people at higher risk for kidney disease.

Microalbuminuria
Microalbuminuria or MA refers to a persistent elevation of albumin in the urine. It is often used as a marker for the presence of cardiovascular diseases.
Microalbumin-Urine-24 hrs
The results of the microalbumin urine test are measured as milligrams of albumin leakage in your urine
over 24 hours. The normal range of protein is less than 30 mg. The abnormal range of 30 to 300 mg is
known as microalbuminuria, often indicating early kidney disease.
